VISA Application
You will get an Acceptance Letter (required for visa) once you have paid the advance tuition fee to the University of your choice from which you had an Offer of Admission. This Acceptance Letter is a valid document for applying for Indian Student Visa at the nearest Indian High Commission. We will be helping you with the entire process as per Government of India guidelines. Please note that the Indian Student Visa Application fee varies from country to country.
General Guidelines for Visa :
- Once Admission Letter is issued, students should immediately apply for a Student Visa at the nearest High Commission of India
Documents Required :
- Letter of Admission issued from the University
- Original Passport with a validity of more than 6 months at the time of application, with at least 4 blank pages.
- Print out of properly filled up online visa application form with uploaded picture and signatures.
- Receipt of Advance tuition fee paid to the University.
- 2 recent photos of size 51 mm x 51 mm (Not older than 3 months, No uniform) with white background and DARK DRESS and frontal view. Eyebrows, Ears, Forehead and Chin to be clearly visible. Edited, Blurred or Unclear photos will not be accepted.
- 3 months bank statement of the Sponsor, with sufficient funds, and a copy of Sponsor’s National ID and Sponsorship Letter, with address proof.
- Travel Tickets booking confirmation.
- National ID & Passport Copy with proof of residence in the home country.
- Visa Application Fee (varies depending upon the country applying from, to be paid directly at the High Commission/Embassy of India upon submission of application)
Note: Any additional documents might be required depending on your Nationality.
- Make sure, if you have entered India on a Student Visa, then it is your responsibility to ensure that you directly join and report to the University. The Visa endorsed on the name of the University or obtained on the basis of University documents cannot be used for any other purpose like employment , admission to any other university/college/institute/academy etc. or for non-regular (distance/online) mode of education.
