Q1) Can the tuition and hostel fees be paid after the Visa arrival?
A1) Students can pay tuition and hostel fees after they get their Visa. However, before that, students are required to pay USD 300 to confirm their seat in the university which will further help them in their Visa application.
Q2) Is there any availability of a full scholarship?
A2) Students can avail 60% scholarship on the full course (of your choice) tuition fees. Students can avail of subsidized hostel fees (USD 1200 per year) that will cover 4 times meal, gym, wifi, and furnished rooms. Apart from this, there are various Government scholarships that Study Mate India updates students about & they can apply to get a full scholarship. However, please note that Study Mate India does not provide any scholarship.
Q3) What is the fee payment process? Whether the fee is paid annually, or can we pay the fee in installments?
A3) The fee payment process has been kept extremely simple and transparent by Study Mate India. International students seeking admission in India need to make payment in 3 major parts:
- Part 1: Before their arrival in India & for their seat confirmation, students need to pay USD 300.
- Part 2: Before the commencement of the course, students need to pay off their outstanding balance for the 1st semester.
- Part 3: For the 2nd semester, students are required to pay the fee in November.
Q4) What is the hidden cost in the whole process?
A4) Study Mate India follows an extremely transparent procedure. There are no extra or hidden charges apart from the ones mentioned. Study Mate India ensures that International students get free uniform, arrival, pickup and no examination fees are charged.
Q5) Who will pay the travel cost and Visa application charges?
A5) Visa application and travel charges shall be paid by the students. Study Mate India’s team will make ensure that the student shall be picked and guided to their respective destination from Chandigarh Airport.
